Practice Organic Mechanisms (Physical Book)

Practice Organic Mechanisms is a workbook for introductory organic chemistry students to learn the mechanisms of reactions through drawing them out step by step. The heart of the book is six chapters that provide room for the student to draw out curved-arrow mechanisms on substitution, elimination, alkene, alkyne, alcohol (including ether and epoxide) and free radical reactions. The book also contains an introductory chapter (58 pages) introducing the key concepts behind these reactions, such as stereochemistry, formal charges, nucleophiles and electrophiles, resonance, leaving groups, and acids and bases.
